Light Vehicle Driver

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Light Vehicle Driver to support our construction operations in the UAE. The candidate will be responsible for transporting staff, site materials, tools, and documents between project sites, offices, and suppliers while ensuring compliance with UAE traffic and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive company light vehicles to transport engineers, supervisors, workers, tools, and materials to and from construction sites
• Follow UAE traffic laws, RTA regulations, and company HSE policies at all times
• Ensure timely pickups and deliveries as per site requirements
• Perform daily vehicle inspections (oil, water, tires, brakes, lights) and report defects immediately
• Maintain cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle
• Assist in loading and unloading construction materials when required
• Keep records of trips, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance
• Coordinate with site supervisors and office staff for daily schedules
• Support site operations as required by management

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid UAE Light Vehicle Driving License (mandatory)
• Minimum 2–3 years UAE driving experience, preferably in construction or contracting companies
• Good knowledge of UAE roads and industrial areas
• Basic understanding of English
• Physically fit and able to work at construction sites
• Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, or overtime if required

Preferred Skills

• Experience driving for construction, maintenance, or engineering companies
• Awareness of basic HSE practices at construction sites
• Ability to follow site safety instructions
