Light Vehicle Driver

Roles & responsibilities

• Safely operate a light vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and safety protocols on every journey.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, identifying and reporting any mechanical issues to maintain vehicle integrity and safety.
• Efficiently plan and navigate routes to optimize delivery times while minimizing fuel consumption and wear on the vehicle.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery schedules, contributing to effective fleet management.

Desired candidate profile

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in defensive driving or vehicle maintenance are a plus.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record, showcasing reliability and responsibility behind the wheel.
• A minimum of 1 year or a Fresher with driving experience, preferably in a light vehicle delivery or transportation role.
• Familiarity with local and regional roadways enhances efficiency in route planning and execution.
