Light Vehicle Driver

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Light Vehicle Driver to transport personnel, materials, and documents safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate should possess a valid UAE Light Vehicle Driving License, have good knowledge of UAE roads and traffic regulations, and maintain a high standard of vehicle care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company light vehicles in accordance with UAE traffic laws and company policies.
• Transport employees, clients, materials, equipment, and documents to designated locations.
• Plan routes to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues or maintenance requirements.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure proper functioning at all times.
• Keep accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials when required.
• Ensure all vehicle documents, permits, insurance, and registrations remain valid and available.
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines during transportation activities.
• Support office, site, or project operations as assigned by supervisors.
• Handle deliveries and collections from suppliers, clients, government offices, and project sites.
• Immediately report accidents, traffic violations, or vehicle damage to management.

Requirements

• Valid UAE Light Vehicle Driving License (Category 3).
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience in the UAE.
• Good knowledge of UAE roads, routes, and traffic regulations.
• Ability to communicate in basic English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
• Physically fit and able to work flexible hours when required.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and mobile applications.
• Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and professionalism.
