Light Vehicle Driver cum Helper

Role Objective:

We are looking for a hardworking and versatile Driver cum Helper to support our facility management operations. This is a dual-responsibility role where you will be responsible for safe driving as well as providing hands-on assistance to our technical MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) team on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safe Driving: Transport technicians, tools, and materials safely between the office, warehouse, and various project sites.
• On-Site Assistance: Act as a helper to the technical team. This includes carrying tools, holding ladders, passing equipment, and assisting with basic manual tasks under the supervisor’s direction.
• Loading & Unloading: Responsible for loading maintenance materials into the vehicle and ensuring they are safely delivered and unloaded at the site.
• Vehicle Care: Keep the company vehicle clean and in good working condition. Regularly check fuel, oil, and tire pressure, and report any maintenance needs.
• Site Cleanup: Assist in cleaning up the work area after the technicians have completed their repairs or installations.
• Documentation: Maintain a simple logbook of trips, fuel usage, and delivery receipts.
• Navigation: Use GPS and local knowledge to ensure timely arrivals at scheduled maintenance appointments.

Requirements:

• Driving License: Must hold a valid UAE Light Vehicle Driving License (Manual Transmission).
• Language: Fluency in verbal Hindi is essential for coordinating with the technician team; basic English is required for coordination with the office.
• Experience: Previous experience in the UAE as a driver or helper in a Technical Services or Facility Management company.
• Physical Ability: Must be physically fit to assist with manual labor and heavy lifting on-site.
• Attitude: Proactive, punctual, and willing to assist the team beyond just driving duties.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,200.00 per month
