LightArt Production Supervisor

Job Description:

Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in fabricating light fixtures and the operation of a variety of machines to manufacture parts for the architecture and design industry by performing the following duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage direct reports
• Manage employee hours and workload
• Manage orders from receipt to shipping
• Manage assembly of lighting fixtures
• Deliver material and FG on time
• QC product as it flows through production.
• Ensure Product flows through floor to shipping.
• Ensure all orders for the day are shipped on time.
• Ensure all RM needed for orders is ready to produce and in good quality.
• Responsible for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Engagement for direct reports.

• Computer competency
• Strong understanding of health and safety protocols
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Effective problem-solving
• Strong communication skills
• 2-5 years experience in Production Supervision

Required physical strength:

Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. Occasionally.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Occasionally.

Must be able to work on your feet including, standing and walking.

Must be able to work in and around production equipment, which includes occasionally climbing stairs, ladders, bending, stooping, standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching.

Must be able to see / hear to visually and audibly acknowledge critical safety instructions, alarms, forklift traffic, perform quality inspections, and equipment inspections.
