Lighting Controls & Home Automation Programmer / Technician

Job Summary:

Luminoso Lighting is seeking an experienced Lighting Controls & Home Automation Programmer who can also perform hands-on technical and site installation works. The ideal candidate will have strong programming expertise in KNX systems and other leading lighting control brands, along with solid electrical installation and testing experience within the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting KNX systems using ETS software.
• Programming and commissioning of other lighting control systems such as Lutron, Cooper, and Philips Dynalite.
• Site installation works including electrical wiring, termination, and panel works.
• Testing and commissioning activities, including:
• Insulation resistance tests
• Continuity tests
• Polarity tests
• Earth leakage tests
• System fault diagnosis, rectification, and site support during project execution.
• Coordination with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure timely completion.
• Preparation of basic commissioning reports and as-built documentation.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the UAE.
• Proven experience in KNX programming via ETS software (mandatory).
• Hands-on experience with Lutron, Cooper, and Philips Dynalite systems.
• Strong technical background in electrical installation, termination, and testing.
• Ability to work independently on site with minimal supervision.
• Valid UAE driving license (preferred).
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude toward clients and site teams.
