Work Schedule

• Full-time position
• 8 hours per day
• 5–6 days per week
• Combination of office-based design work and occasional site visits

Key Responsibilities

• Develop lighting design concepts for residential and commercial projects
• Create lighting layouts, plans, and technical drawings
• Perform lighting calculations and simulations
• Select appropriate lighting fixtures and systems
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project teams
• Ensure designs meet client requirements and project specifications
• Conduct site visits to support installation and implementation
• Review and adjust designs based on project changes
• Ensure compliance with safety and lighting standards
• Prepare project documentation and reports

Skills for This Role

• Lighting design and technical planning skills
• Proficiency in lighting design software (Dialux, Relux, AutoCAD)
• Knowledge of electrical systems and lighting technologies
• Ability to perform lighting calculations and simulations
• Understanding of energy-efficient and LED lighting solutions
• Strong attention to detail and design accuracy
• Communication and coordination skills
• Problem-solving and analytical thinking

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Lighting Design, or related field
• Proven experience in lighting design or electrical design roles
• Familiarity with lighting design tools and software
• Strong understanding of lighting systems and installation processes
• Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings
• Good communication and teamwork skills
