Job Purpose & Scope
Responsible for driving sales of indoor and outdoor lighting solutions by identifying customer needs, promoting suitable products, and building strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and end users. Achieves assigned sales targets while supporting business growth through effective sales planning, customer engagement, and technical product knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote indoor and outdoor lighting products and solutions to customers and project stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with contractors, consultants, distributors, and end users.
- Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into sales to achieve growth targets.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and pricing offers accurately and on time.
- Follow up with customers throughout the sales cycle and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with internal teams to support project requirements and order execution.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within company policies.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements, and report updates to management.
- Maintain accurate sales records and pipeline updates using company sales tools and CRM systems.
- Support product presentations, site visits, and technical discussions when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in lighting or electrical product sales.
- Good knowledge of indoor and outdoor lighting products, LED technologies, and lighting applications.
- Ability to understand technical specifications and lighting layouts.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Professional appearance and customer-oriented attitude.
- Valid driving license.
- Previous experience in lighting sales is highly preferred.
