Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the lighting and home automation sectors across the UAE.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with interior designers, architects, consultants, contractors, and key clients.
- Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers to source and promote high-quality lighting and automation solutions.
- Conduct product presentations, technical demonstrations, and project proposals for commercial and residential clients.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, tenders, and project submissions to ensure successful deal closures.
- Provide lighting design support using Dialux and perform lux level calculations to meet project specifications.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in lighting and automation.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through effective pipeline management and strategic account growth.
- Coordinate closely with the design and technical teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain an updated client and manufacturer database to support ongoing business development activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is an advantage.
- At least 2–3 years of progressive sales experience in the UAE lighting industry.
- Strong understanding of lighting technologies, including LED systems, and their applications in both commercial and residential environments.
- Experience with Dialux and lux level calculations for project design and technical support.
- Established connections with interior designers, architects, manufacturers, and key clients, supported by a solid database of contacts within the lighting and home automation sectors.
- Proven experience collaborating with leading lighting and home automation manufacturers and suppliers.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships.
