Lightning Protection Designer - AutoCAD

Job Description:

Bonded Lightning Protection is seeking a detail-oriented person interested in designing Lightning Protection systems in the construction industry. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the development of design concepts and assisting with project design documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare lightning protection designs for installation
• Produce accurate as-built drawings
• Coordinate with project managers on lightning protection layouts
• Assist contractors with lightning protection submittals
• Utilize AutoCAD and Adobe Acrobat for drawings and submittals

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Architecture, Construction, etc.) preferred but not required
• Previous experience with AutoCAD
• Strong abilities in spatial reasoning is a must
• Familiarity with construction documentation and detailing is a plus but not required

Note: Prior knowledge of lightning protection is not required. On-the-job training will be provided. Interviews will be conducted in-person at our Jupiter office.
