Job description

We have a range of opportunities working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 03:00-04:00 Starts, doing store deliveries. This involves loading and unloading products from the distribution centre to stores. You will work an average of 10-12 hours per shift.

What will you do & what will you need?

You’ll play a vital role in ensuring the stock is where it needs to be. You’ll be responsible for transporting products from the distribution centre to stores, always adhering to our Health & Safety regulations. Your duties will also involve loading and unloading the vehicle with an electric pump truck. This is a hands-on job with plenty of responsibility. You’ll be out on the road but also working closely with colleagues and representing Stanton Logistics to everyone you meet.

Key Tasks

• Attending site inductions and 4 days of training.
• Performing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects or damages.
• Self-loading/unloading the trailer with an electric pump truck.
• Making on-time deliveries to stores.
• Reloading waste back to the distribution centre.
• Ensuring that your vehicle is clean and fit for the next delivery.
• Complying with company policies and procedures.

• Mon to Sun: £220 (plus £12 per shift bonus paid on quarterly Basis).
• Mon to Fri extra shift rate: £230 (plus £12 per shift bonus paid on quarterly Basis).
• Saturday extra shift: £236 (plus £12 per shift bonus paid on quarterly Basis).
• Sunday extra shift: £246 (plus £12 per shift bonus paid on quarterly Basis).

The Essentials

Here’s what we need from you to join the team:

• A minimum of 12 months’ experience driving HGVs (due to the complexity of some of the store deliveries).
• Good knowledge of driver’s hours and WTD regulations.
• A valid C+E UK driving licence.
• A valid UK Driver CPC.
• A valid UK Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no CD, DD, TT, IN, or DR codes.
• Certificate of Incorporation
• Public Liability Insurance

Pay: £232.00-£262.00 per day
