Duties

• Operate and maintain a wide range of medical imaging equipment including X-ray.
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
• Apply aseptic techniques to prevent infection during invasive procedures and maintain strict adherence to radiation safety standards.
• Conduct diagnostic evaluations by capturing high-quality images that meet clinical requirements, ensuring precise visualization of anatomy and physiology.
• Assist in emergency situations by providing urgent care imaging services in trauma or emergency room settings, including Level I Trauma Center environments.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to interpret imaging results accurately and facilitate timely diagnoses.
• Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, patient information, and equipment calibration records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Experience

• Proven experience working in diagnostic radiology with a focus on medical imaging modalities such as X-ray.
• Prior involvement in urgent care or emergency room settings is highly desirable, especially within Level I or Level II trauma centers.
• Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic evaluation.
• Familiarity with emergency medicine protocols and the ability to perform diagnostic radiology under pressure in high-stakes environments.
• Experience operating advanced imaging technology with attention to detail for optimal image quality and patient safety.
• Certification or licensure as a Radiologic Technologist is required; additional specialization in nuclear medicine or mammography is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
