Lincoln, NE – Class A Driver Regional Driver

Job Title: Lead Driver – CDL Class A
Location: Lincoln, Nebraska

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dependable Lead Driver to be based out of Lincoln, NE. This role is ideal for a top-tier driver who can not only perform at a high level behind the wheel but also lead and support a small team of drivers. The Lead Driver will oversee daily operations for a fleet of 3–5 drivers and ensure routes are executed efficiently, safely, and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate as a full-time CDL Class A driver on assigned routes
• Lead, support, and communicate with a team of 3–5 drivers
• Ensure all drivers maintain high standards of safety, performance, and professionalism
• Coordinate and assist with route coverage as needed
• Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers in the region
• Monitor and report any route, equipment, or service issues

Routes Include:

• Weekly South Carolina (SC) run
• Two (2) Chicago relay routes (turns in Kearney, NE)
• One to two (1–2) out-and-back runs to Kansas City or nearby locations

Compensation:

• Mileage pay plus a small base salary (DOE)
• .58cpm- .60cpm

Experience Matters

We require 2 years of Class A CDL experience because we are not teaching you how to drive — we are hiring professionals who already have the skill set.
