LINE/PREP COOK

As a Line/Prep Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Your primary duties include cooking and plating dishes according to the restaurant's recipes and standards, ensuring food is prepared in a timely manner, and maintaining a clean and organized workstation.


THE DUTIES OF A LINE/PREP COOK INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING:

  • Cook dishes to business standards.
  • Follow recipes and create a consistent product.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines.
  • Prepare ingredients for use during the shift.
  • Follow directions from Chef.
  • Set up workstations.
  • Cooking various dishes using the sauté method, including meats, seafood, sauces, and vegetables.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
  • Ability to listen and communicate effectively.
  • SERV Safe Certified
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proven working experience as a cook.
  • Possess strong cooking skills, particularly in the sauté method.
  • Preparing and cooking food items according to recipes and meal plans
  • Preparing sauces, soups, and other food items using standard recipes and methods
  • Preparing special dishes or meals for guests with special dietary needs or restrictions
  • Keeping a clean work environment
  • Sauté and Grill experience required.
