Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, with experience in meal preparation and food safety practices. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall dining experience for our guests.

Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Assist in menu planning, offering creative input for daily specials.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation throughout the kitchen.
• Ensure all food preparation areas are clean and organized.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
• Help with catering events as needed, providing quality meals for various occasions.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management of any shortages.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Proficiency in knife skills and various cooking techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
• A passion for culinary arts and a desire to learn and grow within the kitchen team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
