Line Cook

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team in the culinary department. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for assisting in meal preparation, ensuring food quality and safety, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
- Assist in cooking and plating dishes according to recipes and portion sizes
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the line
- Maintain inventory of food supplies and notify the supervisor when items need to be restocked
- Clean and sanitize workstations, utensils, and equipment regularly
- Adhere to all dietary restrictions and special requests from customers
- Assist in catering events as needed

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and knife skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed
