Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Line Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in accordance with hotel standards and guest expectations. Your enthusiasm for food preparation, culinary skills, and dedication to food safety will ensure that every dish served is delicious, visually appealing, and served promptly. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary expertise within a dynamic hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Primarily working nights 4PM to 11PM.
• Prepare and cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
• Follow recipes and plating specifications to maintain presentation standards
• Assist with menu planning by suggesting new ideas and seasonal specials
• Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines
• Support food service operations during busy periods, including catering events and room service
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and workstations
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient meal preparation and timely service

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling practices
• Experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Culinary experience or training that demonstrates a passion for cooking and meal presentation
