The Line Cook is responsible for executing menu items with precision, speed, and consistency during service. This role plays a critical part in maintaining kitchen flow, quality standards, and overall guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Maintain proper food handling, storage, and sanitation standards
- Communicate effectively with kitchen team during service
- Ensure ticket times are met while maintaining quality
- Assist with prep work, portioning and station breakdown
- Keep workstation clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Follow directions from Management Team
Qualifications
- 1+ years of kitchen experience preferred
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast paced environment
- Strong knife skills and cooking techniques
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize under pressure
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
