Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining or catering environments. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional meals to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines at all times
  • Assist with menu planning and development as needed
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages
  • Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols

Skills

  • Proven experience in the food industry, particularly in restaurant or catering settings
  • Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations
  • Excellent knife skills for efficient food preparation
  • Experience with menu planning and dietary department operations is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members
