Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
  • Follow recipes and portion controls to deliver accurate servings that meet established standards
  • Assist in menu planning by providing input on ingredient selection and preparation methods
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations at all times
  • Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and rotation to prevent waste
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or food industry setting
  • Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
  • Experience with dietary department procedures or dietary aide responsibilities is a plus
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and serve guests effectively
  • Familiarity with menu planning, catering, and serving processes enhances your versatility in the kitchen

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
