Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. This position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Assist in menu planning and food preparation for daily service and catering events.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control.
  • Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines in the kitchen.
  • Support the dietary department by accommodating special dietary needs when necessary.

Skills

  • Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques, dietary aide practices, and catering services.
  • Strong understanding of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • A passion for cooking and creativity in menu planning is highly valued.
