Overview
At Tin Tin, we combine the bold flavors and energy of Cuban cuisine with the refinement and creativity of French cooking to create a unique dining experience in the heart of Calle Ocho.

We are currently looking for motivated, passionate, and reliable Line Cooks to join our opening kitchen team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow within a new restaurant concept and build a long-term career in hospitality.

As part of our culinary team, you will work closely with the chefs and management to maintain high food quality, consistency, cleanliness, and efficiency during service.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
  • Handle food with care, following all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Support food service operations by plating dishes attractively and ensuring timely delivery to guests or dining areas
  • Contribute to food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, portioning, and cooking ingredients for daily service
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and utensils throughout shifts to uphold high standards of hygiene
  • Collaborate with team members during catering events or large meal preparations, ensuring smooth operation from start to finish

Skills

  • A year minimum of experience proven in a restaurant or food industry setting, with strong kitchen experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus
  • Excellent food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly skills with attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of food safety practices, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation protocols
  • Ability to demonstrate knife skills efficiently and safely during prep work
  • Experience in menu planning, catering, or serving enhances your versatility in the role
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure seamless service delivery

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
