Line Cook

We are looking to hire an experienced Line Cook to work 3–5 days per week (must be available every weekend). This position is for someone who already understands how to work in a fast-paced kitchen and can step into the line with minimal training.

Cooks must have basic knife skills and kitchen experience, including tasks such as cutting, dicing, and butterflying chicken, preparing ingredients, and assembling menu items like wraps and sandwiches. You should be comfortable cooking burgers, raw chicken, steaks, eggs, pancakes, pastas, and other menu items while following proper food temperatures and food safety standards. Our kitchen does not rely on fryer timers, so cooks must be able to manage cooking times and judge doneness through experience.

You will work alongside other cooks but should also be capable of running the line independently when needed. All cooks are responsible for cleaning their stations, restocking products, and helping put away deliveries/truck orders.

The right candidate must work quickly, stay organized, handle busy rushes, and know the menu well.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or line cook experience required
• Strong knife skills and food preparation knowledge
• Ability to cook a wide range of menu items
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety and handling regulations

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a wide variety of menu items including burgers, wraps, eggs, pancakes, pastas, and steaks
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times; cleaning is a required part of the job
• Clean equipment, surfaces, and kitchen areas throughout and after shifts
• Restock supplies and assist with putting away deliveries
• Work with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service
• Follow proper food safety and sanitation practices

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
