Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu plans.
- Ensure all food handling and safety regulations are strictly followed to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Assist in menu planning and food presentation to enhance the dining experience for our guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow during peak hours.
- Maintain inventory of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
- Help maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including equipment, utensils, and work areas.
Experience
- Previous experience in a culinary role or food service position is preferred, particularly in fine dining or catering settings.
- Knowledge of food handling techniques and safety standards is essential.
- Strong culinary skills with the ability to prepare various types of cuisine.
- Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining quality standards.
- A passion for cooking and creativity in menu development is highly desirable.
