Line Cook

We are looking to add a dynamic and proficient team player to our kitchen staff. We are looking for aline cook to prepare and execute food to stay consistent to our menu and goals. Consistency is key. Our restaurant is very small but has a lot to offer! The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and goals.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare food for service
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Answer, report and follow instructions
• Keep your station clean and tidy
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Skills

• Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook
• Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
• Familiar with industry’s best practices
• Good attitude, friendly with co workers, and able to lend a helping hand to each other.
• Creativity is welcomed! Our menu is set but we create weekly and daily specials.

Must be willing to learn, a team player, and excited to work in a fast paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
