Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines
• Assist in menu planning and ingredient preparation to ensure efficient kitchen operations
• Handle food with care, following strict food safety and sanitation protocols at all times
• Support food handling procedures during meal preparation, ensuring quality and freshness
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
• Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service and timely meal delivery
• Participate in catering events and special functions as needed, providing exceptional service from start to finish

Experience

• Previous kitchen experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques are essential
• Familiarity with dietary department standards and dietary aide experience is a plus
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures is required
• Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering enhances your candidacy
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills for serving guests and collaborating with team members
