Line Cook

Overview
We are looking for a new line cook to join our team at Roast in Bellmore! At Roast, we make sandwiches, salads, soups, paninis & sides

We are hiring for 3pm-8pm shifts, Tuesday through Saturday and Sunday 10am-5pm. Any applicants that are not available for all of the required shifts will not be considered.

Duties

• Assist in the preparation of food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Making sandwiches, salads, paninis and sides to order.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by regularly cleaning workstations and equipment.
• Handle food safely in compliance with health regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and delivery.

Skills

• Experience in food preparation, cooking, or related culinary roles is preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
• Strong cleaning skills to maintain a hygienic kitchen environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
