Line Cook (22.85/hr -25.85/hr) at SFO Andale Mexican Kitchen, 4 days

Andale Mexican Kitchen at San Francisco International Airport is looking for a Line Cooks. We are willing to train interested candidates with a bit of experience.

Shifts available:

PM Shift (8 hour shifts)

Saturday and Sunday 7:30AM-3:30 PM

Monday and Friday 8AM-4PM

Responsibilities:

· Follow the restaurant menu and recipes, ensuring each dish is tasteful and well presented

· Ensure the line is set up and ready for service

· Maintain line and prep area clean throughout the shift

· Work together with kitchen and FOH staff to ensure a smooth service

Requirements:

  • Must have at least two years as a Line Cook (preferred) but not required.
  • Must be able to pass Airport background check
  • Must be able to work weekends and evenings. Open availability is a plus

Qualifications

· Must be proactive and a self-starter

· Must be proactive and a problem solver

· Knowledge of temperature guidelines

Physical Demands

The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation:

· Must be able to physically stand and move during the length of shift, able to bend, kneel through the shift

· Must be able to carry up to 40 or more pounds, as needed

· Ability to work around high temperatures, smoke, and extreme cold

· Classification & Compensation

· Rate range: $22.85 to $25.85 per hour

· This is a full-time position (Union)

Supervision

This position is supervised by the General Manager.

The ideal candidate must know how to use kitchen equipment, have solid knife skills, and have knowledge of safety and sanitation guidelines. Must possess a good work ethic, and professionalism and be a team player.
