NO NIGHTS EVER, WE CLOSE DAILY @ 2:30pm. We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and a strong understanding of food safety practices. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that every dish meets our standards of excellence. This position is perfect for those who thrive in a restaurant setting and have a keen interest in fine dining and meal preparation. We do require our Team Members to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday), we are closed on Christmas and Thanksgiving.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
- Handle food items safely, following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food safety practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or fine dining environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
- Familiarity with dietary restrictions and the ability to prepare meals accordingly is a plus.
- Excellent understanding of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- A passion for cooking and creating exceptional dining experiences for guests.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
