Line Cook - Coors

Los Cuates is a well-established New Mexican restaurant in the Albuquerque area. Our Coors location is looking for line cooks to prepare food items and help to assist the restaurant in our kitchen. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals. Previous cooking experience is required. An up-to-date Food Handler's certificate is a very helpful in this role.

*Wage is dependent upon experience*

Responsibilities

• Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare food for service
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Clean up station
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers

Skills

• Prior experience is required
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
• Familiar with industry’s best practices
• Knowledge of New Mexican Cuisine helpful

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
