Position Summary
The Line Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality food in accordance with established recipes, standards, and service expectations. This role requires strong execution, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and execute menu items to specification during service
Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation standards
Set up and stock station with necessary supplies and prep
Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
Communicate effectively with chefs and team members during service
Assist with prep, cleaning, and closing duties as assigned
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation
Properly label, store, and rotate products (FIFO)
Support a positive, respectful kitchen culture
Skills & Qualifications
Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred
Strong knife skills and basic cooking techniques
Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
