Position Summary

The Line Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality food in accordance with established recipes, standards, and service expectations. This role requires strong execution, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute menu items to specification during service

  • Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation standards

  • Set up and stock station with necessary supplies and prep

  • Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures

  • Communicate effectively with chefs and team members during service

  • Assist with prep, cleaning, and closing duties as assigned

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation

  • Properly label, store, and rotate products (FIFO)

  • Support a positive, respectful kitchen culture

Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred

  • Strong knife skills and basic cooking techniques

  • Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure

  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs

  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
