Line Cook (Male Only)

The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to steakhouse standards, with a strong focus on steak execution, consistency, speed, and hygiene. The role is hands-on and essential to delivering high-quality dishes during high volume service.

Roles & Responsibilities

Food Preparation & Cooking

  • Prepare and cook steaks and related menu items according to standard recipes
  • Execute correct steak doneness levels as per steakhouse standards
  • Operate assigned station (Grill / Hot Line / Cold Line / Prep) efficiently
  • Ensure proper seasoning, resting, slicing, and plating of steaks
  • Always follow plating guides and presentation standards

Service Execution

  • Maintain speed, accuracy, and consistency during service
  • Communicate clearly with Sous Chef and kitchen team during service
  • Respond promptly to special requests and modifications
  • Maintain clean and organized workstation throughout service

Food Quality & Control

  • Check food quality, freshness, and temperature before service
  • Follow portion control standards to reduce waste

Hygiene, Safety & Compliance

  • Follow HACCP and food safety standards strictly
  • Maintain personal hygiene, grooming, and uniform standards

Desired Candidate Profile

· Steakhouse or grill-based restaurant experience preferred

· Basic food safety knowledge (HACCP awareness)

· Culinary training or certification is an advantage

· Immediate joiners preferred.

Monthly Salary: Based on experience (Housing and Transportation provided by the company)
