Duties

• Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
• Execute food preparation tasks efficiently to ensure timely service during busy hours

• Assist in menu planning by suggesting new dishes or improvements based on culinary trends and customer feedback
• Ensure all food safety protocols are followed diligently, including proper knife skills and sanitation procedures
• Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality and presentation
• Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of food service and customer satisfaction

Skills

• Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with special dietary needs
• Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within restaurant or food industry settings
• Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
• Experience in fine dining environments or catering services enhances your ability to deliver exceptional dishes
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining hygiene standards
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Effective communication skills for seamless teamwork and customer interaction
