Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch items according to menu specifications and quality standards
• Ensure all food is prepared safely, following proper food handling and safety procedures
• Assist with menu planning and ingredient preparation for daily service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
• Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation
• Follow recipes accurately and adapt as needed for special dietary requirements
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
• Adhere to all health regulations and safety standards, including proper sanitation practices

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within restaurants or the food industry
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with menu planning, catering, or fine dining is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with dietary department practices or dietary aide experience is advantageous
• Previous experience in food service, culinary roles, or catering enhances suitability for this position

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
