Line Cook/Cashier

Job Title: Line Cook/Cashier- 30 hours a week

Location: Hey, Sunshine Kitchen, Culver City, Los Angeles

Position Overview: We’re looking for enthusiastic team members for our Line Cook/Cashier position!

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble bowls, salads, sandwiches and tacos with accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant.
• Complete shift administration and banking tasks.
• Monitor food preparation methods, recipes, and portion sizes to ensure quality.
• Ensure compliance with health department regulations.
• Conduct regular checks to keep the store fully stocked and presentable.
• Communicate effectively with the back-of-house team for inventory needs.
• Perform line tastings to maintain food quality.
• Address guest concerns to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Provide coaching to team members on proper procedures.
• Take orders on POS with accuracy and a positive attitude
• Expedite To-Go and Dine-In orders
• Ensure the front of house maintains a welcoming atmosphere and operates seamlessly.

Skills
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation
- Familiarity with food safety practices
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Shifts Available: Day, Evening, Morning, and Night- must be available weekends and nights
