Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, contributing to menu planning, and ensuring that all dishes are prepared to perfection for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Assist in menu planning and development, ensuring seasonal ingredients are utilized effectively.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Handle food items safely, following proper food handling techniques to prevent contamination.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Participate in catering events as required, ensuring high-quality food presentation and service.
• Provide support as a dietary aide when necessary, accommodating special dietary needs of guests.

Skills

• Proficient knife skills for efficient food preparation.
• Experience in fine dining or high-volume restaurant settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation.
• Familiarity with catering operations is a plus.
• Capability to adapt recipes for dietary restrictions when necessary.
