Line Cook/Prep Cook

## Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of delicious dishes in the kitchen. If you have a passion for food and want to work in a dynamic culinary environment, we'd love to hear from you. ## Responsibilities - Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping - Assist in cooking and preparing various menu items - Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment - Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served - Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen - Ensure all food and other items are stored properly - Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages ## Skills - Proven experience as a Line Cook/Prep Cook or relevant role - Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures - Familiarity with industry best practices and culinary trends - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Team player with good communication skills Preferred Skills: - Experience in catering, food service, or restaurant industry - Culinary background or training in a dietary department - Proficiency in meal preparation and fine dining techniques

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per year
