Line Cook/Prep Cook

Job Overview
We are seeking motivated and energetic Line Cook/Prep Cooks to join our culinary team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals, assisting with menu planning, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
• Assist with meal preparation and plating for various dining occasions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage
• Support menu planning efforts by suggesting new dishes and improving existing recipes
• Follow food safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe dining experience for residents and guests
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods
• Assist in catering events and special meal services as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, or restaurant kitchens is highly preferred
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with meal preparation, cooking, and food industry standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Culinary experience or training is a plus, along with familiarity in menu planning and catering services

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
