Line/ Prep Cook

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to providing exceptional dining experiences. This role involves preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all dishes meet our standards for taste and presentation. The Cook will work closely with the kitchen staff to deliver fine dining experiences while adhering to food safety and handling regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu plans.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food storage.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and cooking appliances.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
• Adhere to food safety guidelines, including proper handling, cooking, and storage of food items.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and culinary skills is essential.
• Familiarity with dietary department protocols is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods are required.
• A passion for culinary arts and a willingness to learn new techniques is highly valued.
