Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and components for menu items according to recipes and standards
• Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
• Support the kitchen team during meal service by ensuring timely and accurate food assembly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety protocols
• Handle food with care, following proper handling procedures to prevent contamination
• Assist with menu planning and ingredient inventory management as needed
• Support catering events and special functions by preparing and serving food efficiently

Experience

• Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable
• Experience working in a restaurant or food service environment
• Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices within the food industry preferred
• Familiarity with meal preparation, food presentation, and serving procedures
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Culinary experience that demonstrates a passion for quality food preparation and customer satisfaction

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
