Role Overview:

The Line Producer is responsible for managing the physical and operational aspects of content production—from budgeting and scheduling to crew management and cost control. This role serves as the bridge between creative and operational teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards . The ideal candidate has strong organizational and financial management skills, with proven experience overseeing end-to-end production workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning & Management

  • Manage all aspects of physical production, including budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and logistics.
  • Develop and maintain detailed production budgets, schedules, and cost reports.
  • Oversee day-to-day production operations to ensure smooth execution and adherence to project timelines.
  • Coordinate with department heads (creative, post-production, logistics, finance) to ensure operational efficiency.

Financial Oversight & Procurement

  • Create and manage production budgets and cost tracking systems to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Handle project management tasks from job proposal to invoicing, including raising PRs (Purchase Requisitions) in Oracle, issuing contracts, and releasing supplier payments.
  • Track and reconcile production-related expenses, purchase orders, and payroll.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance and Procurement teams to ensure compliance with internal policies.

Team & Vendor Management

  • Hire, onboard, and manage production teams, freelance crew, and vendors.
  • Negotiate contracts, rates, and deliverables with suppliers and external partners.
  • Ensure all staff and crew comply with company safety, HR, and operational policies.

Logistics & Operations

  • Oversee location logistics, permits, insurance, and travel arrangements for cast and crew.
  • Ensure all production activities comply with local laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Monitor and manage risk assessments and insurance coverage throughout the production cycle.

Post-Production & Delivery

  • Support post-production workflows by managing deliverables, schedules, and cross-departmental communication.
  • Track project progress and resolve issues to keep production and post timelines on track.
  • Ensure all final materials meet technical, creative, and contractual requirements.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, clients, and external partners regarding production matters.
  • Communicate progress updates, financial reports, and risk assessments to senior management.
  • Foster collaboration between creative, technical, and administrative teams to achieve shared goals.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of production management experience, preferably in TV, film, or digital media.
  • Strong budgeting, scheduling, and project management skills.
  • Experience using Oracle or similar ERP systems for purchase and budget tracking.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of production insurance, contracts, and UAE permitting procedures is an advantage.
