Role Summary

Team Members deliver fast, friendly service across both the build-your-own poke line and the boba bar. You’ll guide guests through their bowl, prep fresh ingredients, craft drinks accurately, keep ticket times low, and maintain a clean, food-safe station.

Key Responsibilities — Poke Line

• Greet guests, explain the menu, and guide customers through the BYO poke line
• Build bowls accurately and quickly (proteins, mix-ins, sauces, toppings) while following portion standards
• Restock the line, monitor ingredient quality, and communicate low-stock items to leads
• Support opening/closing duties (set up, break down, dishwashing, trash, sweep/mop)

Key Responsibilities — Boba Bar

• Prepare boba/tea beverages to spec (tea brewing, milk teas, fruit teas, frappes)
• Portion and maintain boba pearls and toppings to quality standards (holding times, texture, labeling)
• Follow drink recipes precisely: sweetness level, ice level, add-ons, cup sealing/lidding, and presentation
• Operate equipment safely (tea brewers, shakers, sealers, blenders if used) and keep the station stocked
• Maintain speed and accuracy during rushes; communicate wait times when needed

Guest Service + Operations

• Deliver warm, efficient service; confirm orders and resolve basic issues calmly
• Operate POS/register, handle cash/card transactions, and maintain order accuracy
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front line, boba station, prep areas, and dining room
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times (handwashing, glove use, temps, cross-contamination prevention)
• Wash dishes and maintain a clean, safe work environment throughout the shift

• At least 17 years old
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Strong communication and customer service instincts
• Able to learn recipes, portions, and food safety standards quickly
• Comfortable working on your feet in a fast-paced environment
• Team-first attitude; willing to jump in where needed

Preferred (Not Required)

• Quick-service, restaurant, barista, or boba experience
• Food handler certification (or willingness to obtain if required)
