OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all patrons receive top-notch service in a friendly and efficient manner. Your ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all customer preferences are noted.
• Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring that presentation meets our high standards.
• Assist in food preparation when necessary, including helping to sanitize kitchen areas and equipment.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately and efficiently, processing payments in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils, to ensure a pleasant dining environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and sanitation practices is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and retail math skills is beneficial for handling transactions effectively.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for culinary arts and an eagerness to learn about menu items and ingredients.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy trays, and move quickly between tables while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Restaurant: 1 year (Preferred)
