Line Service Technician (Aircraft Refueler) - Weekends

Colgan Air is hiring dependable, safety-focused team members to join our line crew. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced airport environment where showing up on time, every time, is essential to keeping operations running smoothly.

This position is a great fit for college students or those looking for part-time work, offering flexible scheduling during the week—while maintaining a consistent weekend schedule.

What You’ll Do

• Fuel and de-ice a variety of aircraft safely and efficiently
• Marshal (guide) aircraft on the ramp and assist with arrivals and departures
• Secure aircraft and perform light servicing tasks (cleaning, trash removal, etc.)
• Operate fuel trucks and ground support equipment
• Maintain clean, organized workspaces (hangars, vehicles, office areas)
• Assist pilots, crew, and passengers with a high level of professionalism
• Perform seasonal duties including snow removal and lawn care

What We’re Looking For

• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Ability to work independently and stay productive without constant supervision
• Consistent, on-time attendance
• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a background check for airport ID
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, year-round
• Physically able to stand for extended periods, climb ladders, crouch/kneel, and lift 50+ lbs

Schedule & Availability

• Weekend availability is required (Saturday AND Sunday) – this is a core part of the role
• Some holiday availability required (rotated fairly across staff)
• Weekend shifts: 5:00 AM – 12:00 PM or 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Weekday shifts: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM (flexible around class schedules; morning shifts available during training only)
• Additional hours often available for team members who want them
