Line Service Technician- Part Time

Job Overview
As a Line Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of aircraft services. Under the direction and guidance of the FBO Manager and Lead Line Service Technician, the Line Service Technician is responsible for all line service tasks of the Fixed Base Operations at the Washington County Airport.  This is a safety-sensitive position and is subject to FAA/DOT drug and alcohol testing guidelines.

What you’ll do

  • Complete airport FBO training programs and updates as they become available.
  • Assist in the preventative maintenance of the airport terminal and all associated facilities utilized by the FBO operations.
  • Maintain daily record keeping as assigned, including but not limited to, daily fuel quality testing and any additional testing required by the Phillips 66 Quality Assurance Fuel Program.
  • Perform all standard Line Service Technician duties.
  • Park and greet all arriving aircraft.
  • Marshall all aircraft arriving/departing ramp area.
  • Provide lavatory and water service as requested.
  • Perform the daily maintenance and cleaning of mobile fueling equipment.
  • Safely operate fuel trucks, aircraft tugs, lavatory, GPU, and De-ice carts.
  • Assist with customer service duties as required.
  • Perform janitorial and light-duty maintenance of the airport terminal and all associated facilities utilized by the FBO operations.
  • Assist with general cleaning and clearing of debris from ramp, building and customer areas.
  • Assist with wing-walking duties as required.
  • Assist passengers and/or crew with baggage/cargo as needed.
  • Assist the maintenance department with preventative and aircraft maintenance as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, Critical Skills

  • Must be self-motivated and willing to work unsupervised and independently.
  • Must be tactful, courteous and conscience of client needs.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions, such as snow, sleet, rain and hot/cold temperatures.
  • Work rotating weekly schedules, weekends and holidays.
  • Wear the FBO supplied uniform and maintain a crisp and clean looking appearance at all times.

Working Conditions

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
