Line Striper - Crew Member

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Striper to join our team at 1-800 Striper. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying paint and markings on various surfaces, ensuring clear and precise lines for roadways, parking lots, and other designated areas. This role requires a strong understanding of construction site operations and the ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Higher pay for more experience. Preferred Experience: Pavement work, construction, painting, landscaping. Will consider candidates with no experience. We are hiring for this role on a rolling basis, so we may not respond right away.

Duties

• Operate line striping machines to apply paint accurately on roads, parking lots, and other surfaces.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, repairing, or marking as needed.
• Utilize heavy equipment such as front loaders, bulldozers, and dump trucks to assist in site preparation and material movement.
• Conduct utility locating to ensure safe operation around underground services.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and according to specifications.
• Maintain equipment in good working condition by performing routine checks and necessary repairs.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working on construction sites.

Skills

• Proficient in heavy equipment operation including front loader trucks and Caterpillar machinery.
• Experience in utility locating is a plus.
• Strong understanding of construction site dynamics and safety practices.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on precision in line marking.
• Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and collaboration on-site.
