Certified / Mainline Technician Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical vehicle concerns
• Perform engine, transmission, suspension, brake, and drivability repairs
• Complete warranty work, recalls, and manufacturer‑specific services
• Accurately document diagnostics and repairs on repair orders
• Utilize Ford diagnostic software and service information systems
• Follow Ford repair standards and dealership procedures
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Collaborate with service advisors and fellow technicians

Certified / Mainline Technician Qualifications

• Prior mainline technician experience required
• Ford certification strongly preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a flat‑rate environment
• Strong commitment to quality repairs and customer satisfaction
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Professional, dependable, and team‑oriented attitude

Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
