Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair overhead and underground electrical lines using specialized equipment such as bucket trucks and cranes.
- Climb poles, towers, and structures safely to perform inspections, repairs, and upgrades on electrical systems.
- Rigging and cabling of high-voltage and low-voltage lines to ensure secure connections and system integrity.
- Operate bucket trucks, cranes, and other heavy machinery safely while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute construction and repair tasks.
- Conduct utility locating to identify existing underground utilities before excavation or construction work.
- Perform welding, tree trimming, and other maintenance activities necessary for system reliability
- Collaborate with field service teams on construction site projects involving cabling, wiring, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, safety inspections, and equipment usage for compliance purposes.
Skills
- Proven experience with rigging, cabling, welding, and high-voltage electrical systems.
- Skilled in climbing poles or towers safely using appropriate safety gear.
- Experience operating bucket trucks, bucket lifts, cranes, and other heavy machinery.
- Ability to read blueprints, technical diagrams, and construction plans accurately.
- Knowledge of utility locating techniques for underground infrastructure detection.
- Ability to perform low voltage work alongside high voltage tasks while maintaining safety standards.
Pay: $26.00 - $40.00 per hour
