Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lineman with more than 5 years of hands-on experience in the installation of overhead line conductors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for erecting, stringing, sagging, and maintaining overhead power lines while ensuring strict compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, string, sag, and tension overhead line conductors according to project specifications and drawings.
• Erect and dismantle poles, towers, and associated hardware for overhead transmission and distribution lines.
• Perform conductor clipping, jointing, and spacer installation.
• Operate and assist with line construction equipment such as winches, tensioners, pullers, and hoists.
• Inspect overhead lines and related components to identify defects or maintenance needs.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations, company procedures, and industry standards.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and team members to complete tasks efficiently and on schedule.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe and good working condition.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in overhead line conductor installation.
• Strong knowledge of overhead transmission and distribution line construction practices.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, method statements, and work instructions.
• Experience working at heights and in outdoor environments.
• Good understanding of electrical and construction safety standards.
