Liner Technician

The Liner Technician role is responsible for installation of geosynthetic lining, erosion control solutions such as Hydroturf and underground detention facilities. The ideal candidate will be proficient in a range of welding techniques, materials, and field detailing tasks. The responsibilities of this role include:

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST HAVE LINER WELDING and TESTING EXPERIENCE.

• Installing liners such as HDPE, LLDPE, and PVC
• Familiarity with other liners such as RPP, Hypalon, or XR-5
• Prepare seams and weld liner using a fusion or extrusion welder
• Ability to set up and operate a wedge welder and successfully run trail welds
• Detailing: installing patches, boots and banding
• Maintain a safe and clean job site
• Promotes a positive work environment
• Overnight travel 90% including work over the weekends. TRAVEL AND OUT OF TOWN WORK IS PART OF THE JOB. You WILL be away for extended periods of time!

Physical Requirements

• Work in all types of adverse weather and confined areas
• Must have sufficient physical stamina to perform construction type work such as lifting and carrying approximately 90 pounds, bending, stooping, climbing in and around construction equipment for 8-12 hour shifts
• Valid Driver’s License
• Satisfactory criminal background check for job access

Requirements:

• CWT (Certified Welder) by IAGI (preferred)
• OSHA 10
• Equipment Operator Certification
• 1,000,000 square feet of material welded within the past two years (preferred)
